The Johan Nilson Paksuniemi Family
The Family of Johan Nilson Paksuniemi and Maria Persdotter Tepasto (the Birth Family of the Editor's Maternal Grandfather's Mother), Lappi Province, Finland. Thanks to information received from Katrin Öhgren via e-mail on May 7, 2000, the editor is informed that Johan Nilson Paksuniemi (born: 1792-08-09) and Maria Persdotter Tepasto (born: 1797-04-16) were married on 1818-03-07. They became the parents of Maria
Paksuniemi, who on February 23, 1860, became the mother of the editor's maternal grandfather.
Maria Persdotter gave birth to eight children: Brita Johansdotter (1818-04-01), Johan Abraham Johansson (1820-04-19), Maria Johansdotter (1823-06-05), Greta Kajsa Johansdotter (1827-06-24), Nils Johansson (1832-09-29), Magdelena Johansdotter (1836-03-16), Johanna Johansdotter (1839-04-30), and Valborg Johnsson (1841-08-07).
Maria's younger sister, Magdelena, also married into the Mikko Jokela II family. She married Mikko Jokela III's younger brother, Fredrik, on 1865-03-11.
