Olof. Maria Elizabeth was born on February 12, 1827, in Tervola parish (very near
Karunki), Finland. Her father's surname was Ollila. Her mother's name is not recorded.
Although he has no other information regarding the family of Olof Ollila,
the editor is certain that Olof Ollila is the father of his maternal
grand- mother's mother - Maria Elisabeth Olufsdatter - who
married Isak Pehrsen Tiberg in
Vadsø, Norway, on June 24, 1853.
