The Family of Johannes Olsen and Agnete Evensdatter (the Birth Family of the Maternal Grandfather of the Editor's Paternal Grandmother), on the Myrstuen Farm, Jevnager Parish, Oppland County, Norway. Johannes Olsen was a great-grandfather of the editor's paternal grandmother. A note in the Toten Økomuseum report indicates that a son -- Ole Johannessen -- was born to the family of Johannes Olsen and Agnete
Evensdatter, in 1813, on the Myrstuen farm.
In the 1801 Census, the editor found 25-year-old Unmarried Servant Agnete Evensdatter residing on the Steffensrud farm, in Toten parish. He was unable, however, to identify the farm on which Johannes Olsen was residing in the year of the census.
The editor has no information regarding the parents of both Johannes and
Agnete
.
